Shirin Neshat: Curates exhibition in New York; screenings at Azzedine Alaïa Association, Glenstone Museum and National Gallery Victoria
Shirin Neshat is curating an exhibition in association with The Center for Human Rights in New York featuring 13 contemporary Iranian women artists. The exhibition, titled A Bridge Between You and Everything (7 – 24 November), takes place at the High Line Nine gallery and features paintings, drawings, sculpture, photography and video by established and emerging artists. During Paris Photo, Neshat will screen her film Looking for Oum Kulthum at the Azzedine Alaïa Association, which will continue through 31 December. In addition, the Glenstone Museum in Maryland, United States, is showing Neshat’s video work Turbulent from 14 November and the National Gallery of Victoria in Australia will screen the artist’s Dreamers trilogy from 15 November to 19 April 2020.
